LaNelle is back! Yay!
I can't wait to see you here in Portland, Oregon, as my cousin Joe well knows. I intend to be regular pain about it until it happens :-) Emily
Joe,at Swannanoa several years ago I remember you being associated with the NC History Trail. A family friend is a junior at Converse College and is preparing to do a paper on history of music in NC mountains. She would love to meet and talk with you. Please advise best way to contact/arrange. Thanks.
Saw you in Cary last night - you were great! Bobb, does EMC or Keane or DG/UX mean anything to you?
Looking forward to listening tonight on Garrison Keillor's Prarie Home Companion!
Graet site! Great music!
I attended workshops, dances, and concerts with Big Medicine at a regional old time music festival. It was life changing, and my understanding of traditional music, and my ability to write and perform it, has advanced exponentially. What wonderful teachers and musicians!!
fan of Joe's since the first time I heard him and Compton. I'm sure enjoying your music down here in Texas. Don't reckon youall ever get down this way.
Hi Ken, I think i found you after all these years! I sent you a message as well. You look great in the photo and it looks like you have made quite a life with your music talents. I've thought of you often with warmth and wondered how you have been all these years. I hope to hear from you. Sincerely, Susie

I am disabled and cannot get out muck. I am glad that I heard you on KDHX as yours is my type of mucsic. I am not able to buy your albums but, I listen to you as much as I can. Thank Gog for KDHX, James.
For what it's worth, I picked PINE TO PINE as one of my Top Ten for 2009. That and about $1.20 will get you a cup of coffee, but it'll be a good cup of coffee. Best wishes for 2010. Keith Dudding, host "Down Yonder" on KDHX 88.1 FM St. Louis MO www.kdhx.org
